Here, ordinary moments transform into extraordinary tales, and every glance reveals something new.
The sparkles and lively hues in her wok reflect the joy Lloyd finds in creation and the stories that unfold within each piece. Lloyd wants viewers to feel as if they can step into these worlds, discovering the narratives hidden within the vibrant layers.
About the Artist
Born and raised in the small town of Browntown, Wisconsin, Laura Lloyd has harbored a lifelong dream of becoming an artist. From an early age, she found herself captivated by the unique expressions and stories conveyed through people’s faces - an inspiration that continues to fuel her work today.
Lloyd pursued a commercial art degree, but her true passion has always been in fine art. Driven by this desire, she taught herself the art of oil painting and later embraced the tactile medium of clay to create sculptures. Lloyd’s artistic journey has led her to develop a style that is both whimsical and colorful, inviting viewers to engage with the emotions and narratives behind each piece.
Lloyd’s work has been collected across the United States, as well as in France and Australia, showcasing the universal appeal of her artistic vision. Each creation reflects Lloyd’s fascination with the human experience, inviting a deeper connection with the viewer.
