2025 Foundry Art Camp
Foundry Art Camp offers children ages 6 to 16 a chance to immerse themselves in creative activities that foster collaboration, enhance artistic abilities, and highlight the powerful role art plays in the world.
Campers will dive into art by exploring the Foundry’s exhibitions, learning about art history, and engaging in discussions with the Foundry’s studio artists. From painting and sculpture to tie-dye and clay work, they’ll create unique pieces to take home and share with loved ones. This hands-on experience across various artistic mediums will inspire and nurture their creative potential.
The Foundry’s week-long, full-day Art Camps are led by skilled art instructors who foster a supportive environment for artistic growth. Campers are grouped by age, with all materials provided. Registration also includes a Camp T-shirt.
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. // Ages 6-16 // $230 Per Session
Each session features its own theme and creative outlet and each Camp session features clay and painting projects, register for more than one session for a fun-filled summer!

ART INSPIRATIONS
This dynamic camp is designed for creatives eager to dive deep into the world of art. Throughout the week, campers will explore a variety of mediums and techniques, from painting and drawing to sculpture and mixed media. Each day offers a new adventure, with hands-on projects and creative challenges that encourage experimentation and self-expression. A special highlight of the camp will be the opportunity for campers to decorate their own camp T-shirts with unique, personalized designs, adding an extra touch of creativity to their experience.

ART UNDER THE BIG TOP
Step right up and join us for a week of artistic wonder and creativity. This enchanting camp invites artists to dive into the magical world of the circus through a vibrant array of art projects. From painting and drawing to sculpting and mixed media, campers will explore the whimsical elements of circus life, including colorful performers, dazzling costumes, and fantastic creatures. Each day will feature new circus-themed projects, encouraging students to use their imagination and creativity to capture the spirit of the big top. With guidance from our talented instructors, campers will develop their artistic skills while creating a gallery of circus-inspired masterpieces. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable artistic adventure under the big top!

This week long camp is perfect for artists eager to dive into the world of clay. Participants will explore various sculpting techniques and create vibrant, imaginative pieces. Each day will feature exciting projects and fun challenges designed to inspire and develop artistic skills, while also encouraging self-expression. Join us for a fun-filled week of shaping, molding, and crafting unforgettable clay creations in a lively and supportive environment!

CHROMATIC CREATIONS
Dive into a vibrant world of creativity with “Chromatic Creations!” This dynamic camp invites artists to explore the full spectrum of color through a variety of engaging art projects. Campers will learn about color theory, experiment with different color palettes, and discover how color can transform and enhance their artwork. Throughout the week, participants will engage in hands-on activities such as painting with bold hues, creating colorful collages, and experimenting with mixed media to explore the emotional and visual impact of color. A highlight of the camp will be the opportunity to tie-dye their own T-shirts, allowing campers to create unique, colorful patterns and designs that reflect their personal artistic style.

storybook studio
Dive into a world where imagination and storytelling come to life. This week-long camp is designed for artists who love stories and want to bring their favorite tales to life through creative art projects. Campers will explore a variety of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, and collage, to illustrate and expand upon beloved stories. In addition, they’ll get hands-on experience with book-making, creating their own custom storybooks filled with original artwork and narratives. Join us for a week of artistic adventure and literary fun in the “Storybook Studio”!

botanical brushstrokes
Immerse yourself in the beauty of the natural world with “Botanical Brushstrokes.” This week-long art camp invites artists to explore the wonders of plants and nature through a variety of artistic techniques. Campers will draw inspiration from gardens, household plants, and wild landscapes to create vibrant artworks, including watercolor paintings, nature-inspired prints, and mixed media collages. Each day will feature hands-on projects that integrate elements of botany and art. Participants will also have the chance to learn about the different ways artists use nature as a muse, while developing their own creative style. Join us for a week of creativity and exploration in “Botanical Brushstrokes” and watch your art bloom!

Ignite your creativity and chill out with art in our exciting “Fire and Ice” camp! This dynamic week-long experience offers artists the chance to explore the contrasts of heat and cool through a variety of hands-on projects. Campers will start by working with clay, using both traditional and innovative techniques to create unique, imaginative pieces. In addition to their clay creations, campers will dive into the vibrant world of ice dyeing, transforming camp T-shirts into stunning, one-of-a-kind wearable art. They’ll experiment with colors and patterns as they watch the dye spread and mix in unexpected ways.
July 28 - August 1
Wild Wonders
Embark on an artistic adventure with “Wild Wonders: Art Safari”! This week invites artists to explore the captivating world of animals through creative and imaginative art projects. Campers will journey through a variety of art mediums, including painting, drawing, and sculpting, all inspired by the diverse and fascinating creatures of the animal kingdom. Each day, participants will focus on different animals, from majestic lions to colorful parrots, using these creatures as inspiration for their own artistic creations. They’ll learn techniques for capturing the textures, colors, and personalities of animals, creating vibrant and dynamic artwork.
REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
Notice of withdrawal must be sent to mkerans@foundryartcentre.org a minimum of 14 days prior to the start date in order to receive a refund (minus the registration fee of $20). The Foundry will not refund or credit for camps missed due to illness or health, personal schedule conflict, travel, or other reasons. There is not a schedule to allow for students to make-up or attend missed classes. If your camper is unable to attend, please contact the Foundry immediately.
